“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” (Ps. 1:1). Instead, he follows a different progression. He delights in the word of God, he continues in it day and night, and he becomes like a tree that is planted by a river of water, and what flows from him is fruitfulness. (See Ps. 1:2-3; Mt. 13:23)
